The Warner-Weiner Center is located in Laguna Canyon, north and west of which includes predominately undeveloped rolling hills, while to the south-east is the area of Laguna Niguel.

The properties along Laguna Canyon Road generally include one-story structures which are light industrial, automotive repair and in some cases special purpose such as recreational clubs, publishing, towing, a winery, an art college, a car wash, a dog park, artists' studios, etc. There has been little or no transition in use in the canyon over the past ten years due mostly to the high built-up rate.
